Madd Galaxy, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, is a trumpeter, songwriter, and producer. Most recently featured playing horns and keys for Mac Miller’s platinum record “Good AM”, Madd Galaxy has performed and recorded with a wide array of artists from Kamasi Washington, Eek a Mouse, RxB, and Jason Mraz.

A sibling of the West Coast Get Down collective, Madd Galaxy spearheads a unique world of expansive energy and improvised musical conversation backed by a revolving cast of all star musicians. Showcasing his musicianship with trumpet in hand, Madd Galaxy facilitates a sonic journey on the stage and in the studio with an array of compositions inspired by a multitude of creative tools including Elektron’s Octatrack, various synthesizers, Earthworks mics, and an array of pedals to mangle his trumpet, voice, and everything else. Madd Galaxy’s first record was released May 1, 2018 through Alpha Pup. He will release his second record in 2019.
